BrightSave Monthly is Sunrun’s PPA/leasing service, with minimal upfront cost, which makes going solar easy.  You pay Sunrun in monthly installments (or in-full) for the term of your lease. The best part? Equipment doesn’t cost a dime and Sunrun monitoring, insurance and Performance Guarantee are included. You also start saving right from Year 1 since there’s no big upfront investment to recoup. If you move, you can transfer the lease to the new owners too.For customers who want to own their equipment outright, Sunrun has two options: BrightBuy^™ and BrightAdvantage^™. Either purchasing option qualifies you for the maximum federal tax benefit. Plus, you can select 10- or 20-year warranties, and won’t be held to any contract. However, you should know that these don’t come with the benefit of Sunrun.

Buying

1.BrightSave^® Monthly

The monthly solar power lease option is perfect for customers who would rather not pay a large lump-sum upfront. Sunrun guarantees 95% of the target electrical output for BrightSave Monthly customers

2.BrightSave^® Prepaid

While pre-paying for your lease costs more upfront (it typically costs what 20 years of energy bills do), you’ll ultimately save more. Even better? You won’t have to pay annual cost increases like you might with monthly billing and you won’t have to ever think about a Sunrun bill again after the initial payment. Plus, prepaid plans come with a 100% Performance Guarantee. That means if your system output falls below your contracted target at all, Sunrun will make up the difference.

3.Purchasing

For customers who want to own their solar equipment outright, Sunrun has two options: BrightBuy^™ and BrightAdvantage^™. Either purchasing option qualifies you for the maximum federal tax benefit. 4. BrightBuy

orget about monthly payments with this option from Sunrun. BrightBuy allows you to purchase solar equipment and pay for the installation upfront. The benefit here is that you can utilize Sunrun’s relationships with top solar power companies to find the best products for your home, which cuts down on wasted time researching and looking for qualified contractors. Customers also receive a 30 percent tax credit based on the cost of the system, so you can save big come tax time.

5.BrightAdvantage

This is the financing option for customers who want to own solar equipment, but want to finance the purchase. Choose between a 12- or 20-year loan with monthly payments. Total purchase costs can run anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000, so payments can be much more manageable when you’re in a monthly billing program.

Sunrun’s Performance Guarantee

Sunrun won’t leave you hanging if you run into problems. The company covers any unlikely damage and leaks caused by solar installations with its roof warranty. Sunrun also conducts extensive audits on homes to make sure installations meet quality standards. Specific warranties vary depending on if you lease or buy.
